NNYM’s Vision is to see every youth leader thrive in deeper connection with God and each other so that every young person is challenged by the story of Jesus. NNYM creates “collaborative spaces for youth leaders to be personally encouraged, professionally equipped and spiritually strengthened for faithful and effective ministry with the next generation.”
NNYM’s “Areas of Focus”
NNYM’s “Core Values” are motivated by our love for Jesus and a desire to love and serve young people and youth leaders, we seek to live lives marked by:
NNYM has a model of healthy networks, which includes a growing balance of praying together to discover God’s desires for the community and network, building relationships to form a team that does life and ministry together, then developing strategies to mobilize the youth and adults in their community, and sharing resources to better utilize the assets God provides.
NNYM’s Network Coaching Playbook and Network Leader’s Guide are valuable resources for network leaders, especially those who are just starting a new network, or who want their networks to grow.
YSN/TheNet has staff who are NNYM-trained Network Coaches, to assist local network leaders.

As of 10/26/15, there were 99 NNYM members in our Greater Houston Area. As of 05/05/23 we were down to 62 … and not all of those were still active in youth ministry. Of course, we would like to see our membership increase. While there is no cost to become an NNYM member, there are valuable resources for leading effective networks, and for connecting with other youth workers, both local and national.
