To our ministry partners:

• To the best of our ability, our materials will clearly and truthfully present the purpose and goals of our efforts, so prospective and active donors can make good decisions about supporting our efforts.
• We will make available the most recent financial statements and other appropriate information, if requested.
• We will promptly receipt all donations, unless requested by the donor not to do so. The receipt will show the donor’s name, address, amount of the gift, the check number or source, date-of-deposit, and the ministry account the funds were assigned.
• Each donor will be provided a year-end giving statement, showing the deposit dates of their gifts, the ministry accounts the funds were assigned, their year’s total, and a current copy of these “Commitments”.
• We will neither share, give, nor sell our mailing list, including donors, to other organizations.
• If requested, we will remove a person from our mailing or group-emailing lists. If they are a past donor, their giving history will remain in our records, but they will no longer receive general mailings or group emails.
• We will use designated gifts for the purpose the donor indicated. If we are unable to do so, we will contact the donor to determine if either: (1) The donor will change or remove their designation; or if (2) The donor requests the return of their donation, which will be honored.
• Per IRS requirements, the YSN Board of Directors has the ultimate authority to use contributions made to YSN, at our discretion, for purposes consistent with our exempt purposes. We recognize our ethical obligations to comply with our donor’s desires, or to return their contribution if notified in a timely manner before the donated funds are spent.
